Two days on Yeongildae Beach where Pohang locals and everyone else who lives here play, eat and compete together — and stay for the sunset party. The Global Showdown runs on Sunday 4 October. Last year: 13 countries, 5,000 people. This year we want you in it, not watching it.
영일대 해변에서 이틀 동안, 포항 시민과 한국에 사는 세계 각국 사람들이 함께 먹고, 놀고, 겨룹니다. 해질녘엔 다 같이 파티까지. 글로벌 대항전은 10월 4일(일)에 열립니다. 작년엔 13개국 5천여 명이 모였습니다. 올해는 구경이 아니라 참가로 만나요.

Space Walk스페이스워크
A 333 m steel track looping over the hill above the beach — 717 steps, free to walk, best at dusk. POSCO built it out of steel, of course.
해변 바로 뒤 환호공원 언덕 위 333m 철제 트랙. 717계단, 입장 무료. 해질녘이 가장 좋습니다.

The east coast’s largest traditional market. Order mulhoe — cold raw fish soup. It sounds odd. It is excellent.

A giant bronze hand rising out of the sea, with its twin on the shore. Pohang’s landmark, and the place people come to watch the sun come up.
